Hofstra men's lacrosse recuit Stephen DiGiovanni honored as one of New Jersey's top players
Hofstra men's lacrosse recruit Stephen DiGiovanni has received accolades as one of the top players in New New Jersey by being named to the Star-Ledger All-Waterman Conference First-Team.
The 6'0 185 pound attackman/midfielder finished as the all time leading scorer in Cranford High School boys' lacrosse history, including 90 points (65 goals and 25 assists) as a junior in 2009. This past Monday DiGiovanni was featured in Cranford Patch where he said of his decision to attend Hofstra, "I didn't want to go to a big school like Ohio State. Hofstra is close to my family, and I just thought, that with the facilities and athletics, this was the school for me and I could keep up academically while balancing my athletics."
In conjunction with the Hofstra University Office of Athletic Communications, “Inside The Pride” will provide features, Q&As, previews and game recaps of all 17 Pride sports from a journalistic standpoint.
